Experience

At this very moment, humanitarian crises are unfolding across the world.
These are not stories from some distant, faraway place.
They are the realities of people who were living everyday lives just like us.
We must "notice" that this is happening, "think" from the perspective of those who are suffering, and "act" by doing what we can—even if it's something small.
We invite you to experience such stories through projection mapping and a highly immersive hemispherical dome.
Through this experience, we hope you will be reminded of the importance of thinking about others—and that it will inspire you to take action, in whatever way you can, for someone else.

Zone1 “Notice” Everyday life for everyone. Zone 2 Think: It is people who save people. Zone 3 Perform “Act” - take action for the sake of someone else. *The three zones of "Notice", "Think," and "Act" are based on the attitude goals set by the JRCS's "Junior Red Cross (JRC)."

Zone 1: Notice

Everyone living their own lives.

Despite regional and cultural differences, people around the world go about their daily lives just as casually as you do.

A video installation offering a glimpse into the everyday lives of people across the globe.

Everyone has their own daily life—a familiar place, warm smiles, time spent with loved ones. Though the settings and forms may differ, the world is filled with diverse ways of living.
Images will be projected onto black-and-white portraits through projection mapping, creating a vibrant backdrop for each person’s daily life.
When you take a closer look at these unique, everyday moments, what do you feel? Let’s reflect on humanity by experiencing the ordinary yet irreplaceable daily lives of others.

Zone 2: Think

The Power of Humanity.

A sudden, unjust reality can strip away everyday life in an instant.
Some are devastated by this reality, while others take action for them.
What are the thoughts that push them forward?

“CROSS THEATER”

Even now, humanitarian crises continue to unfold across the world, robbing people of their daily lives. Yet, in the midst of tragedy, there are those who stand up for others and take action.
In this highly immersive hemispherical dome theater, you will witness the moment when devastating humanitarian crises collide with those dedicated to humanitarian action.
If you are moved by the words and actions of those who fight to protect human life and dignity, let those feelings take root—because that can become a force that changes the world.

Special Exhibition

Zone1 “Notice” Everyday life for everyone. Zone 2 Think: It is people who save people. Zone 3 Perform “Act” - take action for the sake of someone else.

The Japanese Red Cross Ishinomaki Hospital, which survived tsunami caused by the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami in 2011, became a “last bastion” for protecting safeguarding the lives of local residents, treating more than over 18,000 patients in the 100 days following the disaster. This flag, hoisted displayed in front of the hospital for a month during that time, was worn and withstood by wind and snow, symbolized the Red Cross and Red Crescent’s unwavering determination to support everyone in need.

Zone 3: Act

Take action for someone else.

“I want to save someone, too.” ”Maybe I can do it, too.”
When people start thinking about others, the world begins to change.
