On September 9 and 10, at the “Women's Pavilion in collaboration with Cartier” at the Expo 2025 Osaka Kansai, GLOW Red (Global Network for Women Leaders in the Red Cross Red Crescent Movement) will host a series of talk sessions. GLOW Red is an organization focused on promoting the active participation and development of women leaders within the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.

The event will feature four panel discussions: on Day 1, “Building Diverse Organizations”; and on Day 2, “Women as Leaders in Crisis.”

Speakers include Ms. Kate Forbes, the second woman to ever serves as President of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), along with other prominent female leaders from Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies worldwide.

The event will highlight the Red Cross and Red Crescent's efforts toward diversity and gender equality. Participants will share insights, ideas, and practical approaches to foster inclusive leadership and drive positive organizational change.
